OBEY has been building their subversive message for decades, firstly by beginning with the famous André the giant stickers that North American graphic artist Shepard Fairey would place around the city in the 1980s. This movement quickly gained strength and became a fashion statement that is admired and replicated everywhere nowadays.
In commemoration of the artist's trajectory, OBEY has launched its 30 Years of Dissent Collection, presenting new and known pattern and prints with the same rebellious style that characterizes the brand.
OBEY Clothing along with 12 Pulgadas hosted an event in honor of these 30 years of history, to enjoy a night of music by DJ Face.Tic and performances by @ultrasofia, @buenvatomusic, @purosybrutos, @sofbsc, as well as live painting by @ninja_xpert y @elxupetnegre. The evening was held within the amazing architecture of the Balmesiana Library in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter.
