SEAN PABLO FOR CONVERSE: NEW CHUCK TAYLOR PRO
Sean Pablo: the boy who rocked the skateboarding world in a very short period of time. At 16 years-old, he appeared in the Supreme film "Cherry", and since then, his sports career has only kept growing. Born and raised in the city of L.A., though currently residing in New York, Sean was heavily influenced by his father. When he turned 10, his dad took away the typical kid skateboard he was using, and gave him his first real board, as well as a computer to watch and learn tricks faster. He loves surfing, skating and the punk movement.
Sean admits that at first he only liked to pretend to skate, but slowly he forged his own style inspired by his idols Dylan Rieder and Jason Dill. But it wasn't until one day the staff from the L.A. Supreme store noticed that these kids were above all others that they asked Sean to be part of their team.
Later, he received a phone call from his idol Jason Dill, asking him to also be a part of the "Fucking Awesome" team. In light of his success, Converse decided to take the plunge as well, looking to become an American brand that is more and more involved in the skateboarding world. The decision was made easily when they saw Sean liked to skate in Chuck Taylors.
The first release of this shoe was so successful that this year they decided to release it again. The sneaker is a Chuck Taylor All Star Pro model, in two classical colours, black and navy, and is characterised by its deconstructed look and illustrations covering the top.
All graphics were hand-drawn by Sean on one of his shoes, later to be digitalised to create this version of the Chuck Taylors. They drop on January 31st and in 12 Pulgadas we are proud to receive both colorways in store and on our online shop. Hurry and get your pair!
