CONVERSE X GOLF WANG: CHUCK TAYLOR 70 YELLOW FLAMES
After several months without gracing us with any releases in collaboration with U.S. rapper, Tyler, The Creator, Converse is releasing a new version of the classic Chuck Taylor 70 silhouette with Golf Wang for a special occasion.
It's the launch of Tyler's new LP "CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST", with a new musical style that vindicates the great variety of sounds that the singer covers and were we find songs such as: "Corso", "Juggernaut", "Brown Sugar Salmon" and "Side Street". The album cover shows an ID card of the character "Tyler Baudelaire", making reference to the French poet Charles Baudelaire.
The new Chuck 70 Premium features the same flame pattern that we have seen in a previous version of the sneaker in blue and in some of the brand's clothing. This time, the predominant tones of the pair are pastel yellow, pink and white, which are also predominant in each of Tyler's latest music videos.
The upper is made of pale-yellow canvas with the pink flame print. It has the characteristic interior patch of the model in white leather, rubber toe cap, a higher-than-normal side band with pops of pink and a fully pastel pink sole.
