HUF's founder Keith Hufnagel became a professional skateboarder in the 90s, highly influenced by counter-culture movements such as hip-hop, graffiti and underground fashion.

Later he decided to open the first HUF store in 2002 in San Francisco, becoming one of the true fathers of streetwear as we know it today.
